How the Calculation Works
How It Works: The calculator counts the remaining days in the current year by subtracting today's date from December 31st. It also calculates the number of weeks, weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), and working days left.
Breakdown: The calculator shows you full weeks remaining plus any leftover days, and separately counts weekends so you know how many "free time" days are left.
Worked Example
Example: If today is September 1, 2026:
- Days Left in Year: 122 days (through December 31)
- Full Weeks Left: 17 weeks + 3 days
- Weekends Left: 34 days (17 weekends)
- Working Days Left: ~88 days (excluding weekends)
