How the Calculation Works
How It Works: Enter your birth date, and the calculator determines your next birthday and counts the time remaining. If your birthday has already passed this year, it automatically counts to next year's date. The countdown displays complete days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining until midnight on your birthday.
Timezone: The calculator uses your local timezone based on your browser and system settings. Your next birthday is defined as 12:00 AM (midnight) at the start of your birthday date.
February 29 Birthdays: If you were born on February 29 (a leap day), the calculator counts to February 29 in leap years (2024, 2028, 2032, etc.). In non-leap years, the calculator counts to March 1, following JavaScript's standard date handling that automatically shifts non-existent calendar dates to the next valid date.

Example 1: Born December 25, 2010; today is September 1, 2026 at 12:00 AM:
